So I blew it yesterday. I started my day with my green smoothie, then went to get lunch at work & decided that Salisbury steak & mashed potatoes sounded delish. Got home & it got worse from there. I won't go into the details, because frankly I'm embarrassed. No workout. Just sat around doing nothing, catching up on all my dvr'd shows.
This is where I would normally fade out & just go back to my unhealthy lifestyle. But I'm not going to go out that easy this time around. Baby steps......I have to remember I can't change everything about my eating habits overnight. In the past 8 days I've managed to go from drinking mt. dew all day everyday to having 1 & a half since last thursday. I'd say that is pretty good! I've traded either not eating breakfast at all or eating something very unhealthy to having a green smoothie each morning! See another plus!
So I'm not perfect. I've still got a long road a head & I want to make this a lifestyle change, not a temporary change to drop weight & then get back to my old way of eating. I'm not going to have all great days & yesterday was a not so great day, but that doesn't mean I should just give up. It just means I try harder today.
