I did okay. I haven't been putting forth major effort, so I can't really get mad when I don't reach all of my goals. More effort= more goals accomplished.
Things I did do:
I RAN! I actually ran 3 times. I've lost a lot of my endurance and was super embarrassed about it. I did get the awesome "I'm so hot" feeling afterward
(pretty much consists of "my legs look awesome" or "oh yeah, look at those abs" etc)
I started my Groupon gym membership, did a Pinterest project (3 actually!), and have been working on eat less frequently
Things I need to work on:
Meal planning. I'm full of excuses here. Jimi has been working a ton, so it's hard for me to get motivated to prepare meals when I'm the only one eating them.
Processed foods. I did okay, but I really want to work on eating less processed foods.
Morning exercise: I did really well for the first 2 weeks of July then didn't do anything the last 2 weeks. Definitely want to get back into the habit!
Meal Plan. Just do it! Do more batch cooking on Sundays, make extra salads so they're ready as a side for dinner etc. Just do it!
Run 1x/week. It's not a lot, but it's something I can commit to.
Morning workouts. 4x/week. 10-20 minutes.
Work on cutting out a few processed "go-to" foods (strawberry yogurt, tortillas, pasta sauce, pasta)
1,000 fitness minutes. I used to consistently get way over 1,000 and I haven't since like March...
Do 1 HIIT workout per week. I seriously see the most results with these short workouts added in.
Things coming up in August:
Mom's 50th birthday
Niece and nephew's birthday party (aka- food and drinks for us adults)
Travel for work at some point to NJ (aka- diner capital of the world)
Beach over Labor Day weekend
Also, I've decided the make a goal to do a split before then end of the year. I've cut the distance to the ground in half since I've started doing yoga (only with my right leg forward, but one split variation is fine)
