I tried out a new workout routine this week. I like it. I expanded my 3 day a week weight routine to 4 days a week, but better put together days. I've learned to do a hang and clean this summer, and although I'm still getting the form down, I'm having a blast with it. I think I've got the basics, but my arms don't get high enough.
This week has been iffy for food, but it's the wrong time of the month to get food exactly right anyway. It hasn't been bad, just iffy. I have a new breakfast - one egg cooked in a bit of local butter, 1/2 cup of fruit - preferably berries, 1 tablespoon each of local, raw honey and peanut butter mixed. It's about 300-350 calories which is about right. It's also all local foods, some from right around the corner.
I'm nearly back on schedule with sleep after a week of vacation. Vacation throws me off every time because I sleep oddly in new places and I never had time to nap. I'm trying to stay on schedule now until school starts again so I don't have to adjust to that as well when I jump back on a normal routine. Teaching 24 contact hours again - woohoo!
Okay, time to kettlebell and get moving because it is the last day of the kids science camp I'm helping to run and we have an Olympiad to put together!
