So I made it through

I've made it through my first day. I logged all of my food and ate clean. I didn't actually get to formally exercise today but it's kind of hard not to be active chasing around three kids all day while taking care of four pets, cooking and cleaning. I'm hoping once school starts back up I'll be able to really up my exercise by walking the kids to and from school and having a little "me" time during naptime.

I'm ready to do this. My wakeup call has come and gone. It's time to take charge of my health.

I took some time last night to write down my August goals:

*Exercise a minimum of 10 minutes each day
*Complete a minimum of 500 minutes of exercise this month
*Eat Clean
*Log everything that goes into my mouth
*Drink more water!

    Do what you can! Through years of yo-yoing on and off of SP, I'm finding that I'm better off sticking with SP even if I don't reach my goals every day, rather than deciding that well, if I can't stick to my goals, what's the point of being on SP? But if you really take advantage of it, it is a wonderful, supportive community. If all you can do in that busy day with 3 kids and 4 pets is to log on and blog, then so be it. You have a lot going on. Set achievable goals and do your best!

    hey, welcome and congrats on your first day!!

I've been on Spark 5 years, and just started back for 'real' a couple of months ago.

Sounds like you have a great plan, keep in touch, would love to see how you progress!
