One More Day...

Thursday, August 01, 2013

And the weekend will be here! emoticon It can't get here soon enough for me.

Since I manged to screw up dinner yesterday (forgetting to turn the crock pot on), I had to wing it last night. I took some smallish rib eye steaks and sliced them up and made Beef Stroganoff over egg noodles. It worked out good. I did cook the pot roast but I'll toss it out tonight. I didn't want to throw raw meat in trash. emoticon

I was within my calorie range for yesterday and I was happy about that. But I do seem to be stuck at my current weight. It's been about the same for like 3 weeks now. I may have to try and get back into working out at home but with the OT I'm working...I'm beat by the time I get dinner done and stuff. Maybe just some light strength stuff at night? emoticon

But the good thing about the OT is my paycheck (got one today) It's like $600 more then what I would get otherwise. I was able to put a nice chunk of into my savings account, I'll move the bill money to our joint account, and even have enough to buy the groceries and gas with some money to spare! Although I'm sure my sweet hubby could fine SOMETHING to spend it on. emoticon Not going to happen!

We do have to buy him a pair of nice dress slacks for his interview next week. He applied for a Supervisor position where he works now. And he needs some new dress shoes. And I need new socks. Mine are getting holes in them. emoticon

Dinner is a seat of my pants thing tonight. Or maybe eat out? I'll have to see if hubby is still dressed when I get home. And no..he doesn't set around in his birthday suit...he just gets his "comfies" on when he gets home. A tank top and sleep shorts. emoticon

I did 60 mins on the treadmill at lunch today. I was suppose to be on the elliptical all this week, but they were all taken by the time I got down to the gym. Oh well..tomorrow. emoticon

So that'll be it for me today...have a great rest of Thursday...and on to Friday!

You might want to try eating around the bottom of your calorie range for a couple days the next week, up your protein (you seem to eat a lot of bananas, maybe switch one for a hard boiled egg or some nuts), and if you aren't drinking enough water, make sure that you are. These things may help with your plateau. Also strength training is a must! It increases your calorie burn way more than cardio! Your body might be getting used to the walking/eliptical that you do. Try to change up your workouts, and intervals, use the bike machine, try a workout dvd at home. Hope this helps.

So Chuck has an interview. Yay! Remind me the day of so I can be praying in full force for how it goes! That would be so great if he could get that.
