Another busy day!

Woke up, breakfast and medicines for me and little one. Mom picked up the baby this morning, she asked me if I needed a night to relax and she would love to keep her all night. I agreed. (But I am not relaxing, I am cleaning like nobodies business!) After she left with Trinity, I went to run some errands. What is with the 1st of the month when everybody is in my way? Dropped off rent, stopped in convenience store to grab a bottle of water because I forgot to bring one with me, stopped at bank to deposit rent money ha ha. Took twice as long to do all that as usual because all of Main St. was blocked off for the Italian Festival and I had to maze my way around side streets. Then I went to see my 90 year old man, going through two construction zones to get there. He decides we can just walk into Monroe's and have them fix my car AND have them drop us off at McDonald's and pick us back up when it is finished. I told him they would never do it, but he was very cranky, and 90, today, so we stopped there, and they just laughed at him. I scheduled an appointment for Sunday. Then we went to McDonald's. Which is 2 minutes away. But, not today. The line for the drive-thru was clear out to the street, we couldn't even get past any of the cars to a parking spot, and every chance I got to turn in behind the line and wait in the line to get into a parking spot some a-hole coming from the other direction would go in before me. Well, we sat in the road for about ten minutes before we could turn in, good thing it was a four lane and people could get around me. And the old man was driving me absolutely nuts with his back seat driving - "Turn in now. Go now. Now go. Turn in." SHUT UP!! We got in and had our meal. Then went to order a new battery for his scooter, that wasn't so bad. We were the only ones there. I guess McDonald's is in higher demand than scooter batteries. Traffic was still horrendous. Then we went to the grocery store where he took his normal spot on a bench outside and I went in to get him cat food, candy, and diet 7 up for him. I nearly ran three people down with my cart. Screamed at one, "I have a 90 year old man sitting out in the heat waiting for me, GET OUT OF MY WAY!" And then they have the nerve to be shocked that they would be in someones way while having a very long conversation with someone in the middle of the aisle. Oh, I forgot, a grocery store is also a social club now. Ugh. My old 8th grade math teacher interrupted my cat food buying skills with his own "Oh, you're getting those ones? You know, if you get these ones 35 for 10.99 it would be a better deal because you can get 10 more for free when you buy the 35, so it'd be 45 for 10.99.' My reply - "I don't care about the price, I'm just trying to get the hell out of here," He just walked away. The only reason I recognized him was because he very violently kicked me out of his class once. I may have just gotten back at him in a way. I don't think he knew who I was at all though. So then I load up the car and the old man and take him home. His aides aren't doing jack, he has them three days a week and yesterday the girl never even showed up. So I did a load of laundry and ran the sweeper for him after bringing in his groceries. I sat and visited for a few minutes. And then, oh, I didn't have to pick up the child today. Thanks Mom! I decided to go to Wal-Mart and get copies of the photos of Trinity's dad for his mom, his grandma, my mom, and my dad. What was I thinking?? While at the kiosk, the store associate behind me was doing something with the glass case and it shattered everywhere into a million pieces. Then I had to wait ten minutes for my "instant" prints. Then I stood at a desk that nobody was at (the ticket says to pay at the photo counter) for about 15 minutes until I got fed up and just took them through a check out line. Finally, I am out of the hellacious Wal-mart. Swung by the open produce stand on the way home and got peaches, watermelon, and blueberries. There was maybe three other customers there. There is something seriously wrong with this picture. All of the department stores and and fast food places are super packed, but the good, fresh, local economy is starving for customers. No wonder nobody has any money anymore. It was nice chatting with the two elderly woman who ran the produce stand, I even lectured them on the importance of staying hydrated while working in this heat. I enjoyed watching them roll their eyes at me. Then I stopped by Jack's (baby's dad) mom's to give her the copies I made and I handed off a few peaches to her as well. I visited her for about 15, 20 minutes, and I am excited to say I was invited to go to Cedar Point with her and her daughter mid-August. I really hope my mom will take Trinity for me, and that I will be able to scrounge up some extra funds for a ticket and hotel room. I never go out and do anything fun for myself anymore so I am really looking forward to this. I am home now, and writing this while eating dinner. Just got done tending to my flowers and taking out the trash. Now I am going to do a bunch more cleaning before my workout. Next week I might not have time to write a blog entry because I have a dentist appointment to fix a filling that they didn't do right the first time, orientation for my LPN classes, a CPR class, a still unscheduled visit to my doctor for a 2step TB Test and Tetanus Shot for school. I also have to call and make sure my financial aid went through. I just added yet another client to my landscaping (that's three total now) and I have to tend to those homes pretty much on a daily basis. Plus I have the old man on Sunday and Thursday. I really need to go to that amusement park. Really, really. I know most of you are like, why is she making me read all of this and giving me every little detail? Because, it helps me to remember every little thing I need to do lol. Hope you all have a great weekend!!!
