We're having a breeze !

Thursday, August 01, 2013

emoticon The breeze is clearing our air of smoke...hope it won't accelerate the spread of these wildfires...the go v't needs to allow some logging to thin out our forests ... our fires have been becoming hotter and higher flames/2mi. up in height due to density of timber growth...they have 'managed' and 'protected' us into EXTREME DANGER !!! We have lost millions and millions of board feet due to fires....
Well, went out to mow the yard anyway, wore a face mask and got in 1.5 hours..yaa! emoticon

Best wishes to you in this hazardous fire conditions! I'm in Bend, we are having lots of thunder and lightening, but the wind and rain have helped alleviate the smoky haze from the fires.
