I am incredibly pleased with the newest additions to the Spark Awards! I know we don't always "enjoy" the changes that get made here, we get used to how something works and we are NOT creatures comfortable with change. But you know what? We adjust, we get used to it and we do just fine! I'm fine with the new fitness plan and I really do like the new way we track some of the things for our Spark Points. We actually get more!
But I am totally thrilled about the new awards! The mileage ones were a shock, who knew I had actually logged over 500 miles! And the new Fitness minutes awards that go all the way to 2500 minutes is great! I found myself pushing it to get to that 1000 minute mark and then that little evil
voice went "Whew, that's done!" I hated her....because after that each and every time I would begin my workouts she would be there whispering in my ear, "You've made your minutes for the month, kick back....relax!" I had VERY often thought if only it wasn't "done" I wouldn't have to keep knocking the p*ss out of her to Shut. Her. Up! When I saw yesterday that someone on my friend feed had received awards that went all the way up to 2500 points I was doing a happy dance all around the room, and I just loved listening to her groaning in misery!
