Interesting Grocery Store Observation

Thursday, August 01, 2013

Food Pusher #1--Bakery Counter worker conversation: "These doughnuts just came out and they're still warm. You want some, right?" "No, not really." (I had to tell her NO three times.)

Food Pusher #2--Seafood Counter worker conversation: "This salmon just came in this afternoon and is really fresh. You know you want some..." (I agreed with him and bought a pound.)

what's the difference? six months of maintenance (i'm at a plateau though not yet at my goal weight).

wow...healthy eating is becoming a lifestyle. :)

The deli person at Walmart tonight tried to get me to buy cheese after I bought some turkey. She was like, "It's only $2/pound." and I said, "no, I'm fine, thanks." and she was like, "Seriously? no cheese?"

I don't like cheese very much. I see it as useless calories and fat that I'd rather consume via peanut butter or guacamole.
