Hooray, it's a new month! Haha so my new goals have to wait a bit, since a certain online seller has screwed up my order and my new video has yet to arrive. BOOOO!!! So today I was at a loss for what exercise to do. I started doing my same old vid, but 10 minutes in I just wasn't feeling it. So I put in my Sparkpeople's "Fit, Firm & Fired Up" video instead. I really didn't do this one much yet, so it was a nice switch up. I ended up doing 2 workouts off of that, and done. Maybe I'll do something else later.
Confession time! I am a scale fiend. I step on every morning! The past couple days I've been up by a little more than a pound. I'm mad about this a little. Or a lot. I really don't want it to get to me, since that's just nonsense. There's no chance that I've eaten enough extra food in the last 3 days for it to be a fat gain, so maybe it's muscle
. I was really looking forward to getting pound #20 off though, that's what is bothering me the most. Oh well!
So, in July I started at 209.6 and August is starting at 204.2, so 5.4 pounds lost for the month. I measured myself too, and I've lost at least a half-inch from my hips and waist! I've gained strength and flexibility! When I started back in May, I could not reach behind me and grab my foot to stretch my hamstring. Today, I tried it without even thinking and it was so easily doable, I was surprised.
August's goals: Burn 2500 calories per week, 1000 fitness minutes for the month. Do Jillian Michaels 30-day shred, which will have to start Monday if it gets here by then! Or from whenever it arrives after Monday. Track while on my trip this weekend, hopefully not gain!
