Thanks for all the tips on the last blog. I forgot about the map your route tool here. I've had problems using it before but I managed to get some routes measured. I discovered the run I have been doing is 3.4 mi. I added in an extra park loop today and that made my total 4.25 miles, and if I add in another park loop next time I can make it 5.1 miles! That will be my first goal route. And so, today I checked the time on my way in and out of the door and I did 4.25 miles in 42 minutes. My math skills are pretty rusty but I guess that means I do a mile in 10 minutes? And I tracked all my calories since last Saturday so I'm back in the groove of things, back down to 155, though before I left for vacation I was more like 153 on a good day, gotta look forward, not backwards. No more beating myself up about the backstep I took. Just gotta learn I'm not in a place to cheat yet, I have a path ahead of me, eyes up, shoulders back, pull up tall :) Feeling great!
