Injury, Vacation, and Plateau Destruction Plan.

Vacation -
I was hoping to lose weight on my vacation, but instead I came home at the exact same weight. a 4 week vacation without gaining any weight is a success on its own even if it wasn't the success I was hoping for.

Injury -
Last Wednesday I decided to attempt a diving front roll after class, Epic Fail!!! My left toes were bent all the way forward - PAIN! Fortunately it wasn't broken, but there is severe bone bruising, and perhaps a hairline fracture (which they can't see on an x-ray until it has had 2-3 weeks to heal) So I had to miss class until yesterday, which I had to modify, and workout with a tightly wrapped foot. So frustrating.

A month off and then an injury. Plus I have been at this weight for almost 2 months now, and I just want to to bust through to the 110's. I haven't seen them for 6 years. :( I'm So close!!!!!

Round 1 of boot camp was an intense immersion in Physical Fitness - I got strong and shed some fat.
Round 2 - I dropped down to working out 3 days a week instead of 5, but committed to healthy clean eating. - dropped the same amount of weight and inches as round 1.
Round 3 - Plan - Add weights into my cardio, and healthy eating Plan

I will continue to drink lots of water, and continue a grain, starch, legume, and refined sugar free 80/20 Diet. I probably do it more than 80% of the time, but the 20% makes room for real life.

After getting my Body Fat Testing Done, and having an accurate Body fat reading of 30.1% ( The Bod Pod is accurate withing 1%) My scale and measuring tape are now tools to help me be successful instead of objects that have o power to discourage, enrage, or measure my self worth.

At first I was devastated ( I ate potatoes and sugar right after the test) Because I had worked so hard, and my body fat was way higher than I thought it was, and so was my weight. I was was freaking out, and totally discouraged. My sweet Husband was trying to do damage control as fast as each new emotion was drowning me - Bless HIM!!!! He kept reminding me how far I had come, and the numbers they gave me didn't change my success it just meant I had more weight and more body fat when I started than I thought. My success was the same. He kept telling me how proud he is of me, and how far I have come, and that the next time I got my testing done I would know exactly how much I have changed my body regardless of what the tape measure says, or whether the scale at all.
Thank the Lord for Phil!

So Here I am weeks later, and while I still want to see that scale move, and my numbers get smaller - My real goal is to see my Body Fat decrease significantly. My goal by the end of the year is to be below 25% body fat. I don't know if that is a realistic number, but by working towards it I will certainly be closer in 5 months than I am right now...Progress is moving forward one meal at a time, one workout at a time, and sometimes from one moment to the next.

Don't let that body fat test discourage you. If I'd had one done at the beginning of this journey I probably would have stroked out when they showed me the results!!!! Your exercise and diet plans are solid. And it sounds like you have a supportive husband. That's awesome!!! You are going to get to where you need to be!!!!

Spotters and coaches can guide to avoid pain next time you get curious. Donít stop being curious. Also on a positive note a plateau, when all else is going right, can be a sign of inches relocating repositioning in smaller ways-check the measuring tape to prove it. And it can be a time to increase body filter care for the next big crunch using more kitchen herbs sprinkled garnish on or stirred into foods like parsley, cilantro, and aloe.
