Another month gone!! This summer is flying by!! July was such a gross month. We had like a million heat waves and rain--it sucked! But even with 98* heat I was still out there running and walking!! And, of course, staying hydrated! Let's see how I did with my July Goals...
--Run 5k- Did it!! Unofficial at the park was 41:05, then I did an official 5k run (Christmas in July 5k in Philly) at 39:57. Looking forward to beating my times!
--Continue strength training- Fail! I don't know what my deal is with this! I can walk/jog 5 miles a day but when it comes to anything else I'm so lazy!
--Dont pig out at parties/picnics- I'd say 50/50 on this.
Total weight loss for July- 6lbs. Not great but better than nothing. I was pretty excited when Spark gave me a trophy for 1000 lifetime miles! After my 5k I was excited to cross that off my New Years Resolution List
I'm pretty proud with my weight goals so far. Here's my list:
---Get back into old jeans (i gained some weight around Christmas and went up a size)-CHECK, and now 2 sizes lower than that!
---Get under 200lbs- CHECK
---Run a mile straight---CHECK
---Lose 100lbs total- CHECK
---Run a 5k straight- CHECK
---Single size jeans
---Comfortable in sleeveless shirts
Right now I'm between a size 12 & 10 pants. Hoping to be an 8 by sometime in Sept/Oct. Not too sure about my last goal....my arms have alot of lose skin and I'm really self conscious about it.
But I shall keep pushin on! Now onto August Goals...
---STRENGTH TRAIN, DAWN!!! Just do it already!!!
---Behave at parties, no binges
---Lose at least 7lbs
