Pasta for breakfast: whole wheat w/spinach and mushrooms and a bit o' Parmesan.
Lunch: last of the edamame salad, plus pretzels and cheese.
For dinner, a treat-delayed.
Tuesday, I went to Boston for work. I wanted to treat myself to a sushi lunch, but it was too early and I ended up with a turkey burger instead.
Yesterday, I had some time to spare before helping a friend move some stuff to a new apartment, so I redeemed my sushi-desire coupon.
I had seafood rangoon and some rolls (tuna, yellowtail and scallion, avocado and cucumber). It was really a bit much for one person, actually, but I think I worked off some of the excessive part by helping move a number of things from a fourth floor to a third floor.
(Good functional fitness!)
I don't have pictures of both halves of my sushi meal. Forgot to take a pic of the rangoon or my beverage.
I do feel a bit self-conscious when it comes to photographing my food in front of others. I really shouldn't - the Internet is full of food porn.
I also have a fear of being excessive in weight loss efforts, because I have a history with those kinds of behaviors. So I tend towards the gentle efforts these days as I don't want to lose a single pound that I had to mistreat my body to get rid of.
Happy, healthy and sane.
That's my true goal.
Ps. Anyone reading the Night Circus? That was my sushi-treat reading material. Really enjoying it! (No spoilers, please)
