Daniel Pink on Motivation

Thursday, August 01, 2013

This talk is a couple of years old but I think it is still very relevant. It talks about how to motivate people and when to rely on extrinsic and intrinsic motivation. There are many ways to apply this to living a healthy lifestyle ourselves and to motivate others to do so.

I found it completely boring and couldn't even concentrate on it because it was so scattered and not straight to the point and just kept going around in circles.

Anyways, I tried to watch but got sleepy listening to him.

thanks for sharing.

Maybe Mr. Pink is not my cup of tea.

Thinking outside of the box with no reward.
That is what we face every day with our health, and with me as a teacher. This flick helps me understand how to live better.
Rewards really don't motivate me. Now I understand why.

I plan to listen to it later this evening. It seems you can't get enough on motivation. Glenn
