Never stop trying

Today was the first day of Weight Management class at Kaiser. The plan is similar to Medifast. The only difference is for the first 30 weeks, I will be supervised by a doctor. The doctor will help guide me when my sugars are erratic and keep me level. I went with this plan just for that reason. I know the meal replacements work because I have had great success with them before. This time around I will have the full package and not rely upon myself to be honest with just me, but now there are others watching me. So no cheating. Everyone in the house knows that I am going to be serious about this. They are so surprised that I have even given up the traditional Wednesday night burrito night!! But for the next 82 weeks, I do nothing that is not on the plan.

The consequences of not being successful this time around will mean surgery or worse. The classes will also teach behavior modification. I will keep you posted and cheer for great success.
