Off track tonite.

Rough day with emotional eating today.... recognized it and didn't go it with sugarly stuff, but nuts and sausage.... and first time in what would have been a month tomorrow.... no wait, I should say that as I was on track and kept my focus for 30 days before I had a break.

Short walk, finished my book, heartbreaking, but awesome... so that probably had a lot to do with the emotional stuff today too....

Back at it tomorrow, come too far to fall off the wagon now.

If there is anyone out there who can limit themselves to 1/3 cup serving of cashews or macadamia nuts, kudos to you, cuz you're a better man than I am!!! (But I have had them in the house for a week, so still not a major feeding frenzy either, so there are still some things to celebrate.....

Hey, nuts and sausage are fine. I know what it's like to read a sad book and have it throw my day off. You are doing so great that you shouldn't feel guilty. Just read some good, lighthearted books for awhile - like Debbie Macomber or Janet Evanavich - she's got a series of books that are just a hoot! "One for the Money", "Two for the Dough"...

I could eat a whole container of cashews if I had them here. It's hard not to. :( You have been doing awesome so only one little step back out of 31 forward is wonderful! Keep up the good work! Hugs!

trouble is they are too tasty - I don't buy nuts for that reason - although my weakness at the moment is crisps. really have to stop buying them! I'm sure you'll get back on track and the important thing is recognising that you are confort eating even if you are unable to stop it!

Different foods for me, but I also have "trigger" foods that I don't do a good job of limiting! I try to avoid them! You'll get back on track, I'm sure! emoticon emoticon

sorry you are having a rough day today. Nuts........I love em and cannot leave them alone if they are in the house. I dont particularly care if they are salted or nnot, I will eat them. I generally by raw unsalted nuts just so they aren't as bad for mebut every now and then my salt monster kicks in and I get the salted ones, mostly for the macadmia ones in the mix. I dont think i have ever seen unsalted macadamia nuts.

hopefully this is the only break in another long stretch for you, as 30 days is a nice long time to be so good and on track. a lot longer than I ever make it

Put it behind you and start anew in the morning...a new day, a new month, emoticon

Funny that you mention cashews; I started with eight which doubled before the end of the day; I'm with you!
