Well hello mojo! Where have you been?

Wednesday, July 31, 2013

I had lost my mojo for over a year (nearly 18 months) and made lots of half hearted attempts to get back on it. All of them failed within 24 hours and I was always going to start again tomorrow.

Maņana maņana - this had become my motto.

Then last month, my GP decided that HRT may be the order of the day. And hey presto - even though I wasn't totally convinced - the HRT is kicking in and suddenly I am in such a positive place.

I woke on Sunday and thought ok, enough already!

Was great on Sunday and Monday and then worried I may fall back into old habits as my in-laws had offered to have the kids from Tues - Fri and hubby had offered to stay with them so I could have a break.

Today was a worry - I entered our local shop and automatically picked up a pizza - staple diet when home alone. Then suddenly stopped, looked at the calorie/fat/carb content and thought "no, enough"

I came home and made chicken, mushrooms and pepper in a spicy tomato sauce and had that with a wrap and salad.

More importantly I didn't feel unhappy or as if I was having a "necessary" ption!

So yes - at last - it's back. I said to my GP that I know what to do but I couldn't switch on that motivation in my head. Well thanks to the HRT, I've switched it on again.

Whoop whoop.
