I'm up 6 ounces this week. Some of it still might be sodium from a few days ago though. I'm at 224.6. But this week I seem to be back on track. hopefully it will show it on the scale in the next week or so.
I am now almost 75 days caffeine and soda free. I still get tempted. Any time I go out and everyone is drinking soda I get a craving for it. But so far I've been able to resist. To be honest. I had such a bad coke habit and I know how bad it is for my health and my teeth that really helps me in not having any. That's not to say I don't crave it though. But would I rather have coke or diabetes?? Because that is what it was leading up too. I was prediabetic last time I saw a doctor.
I'm "thinking" of doing a sprint tri this august. I REALLY want too!! BUT I have a few things holding me back. One of the biggest obstacles though is that my calves hurt to bike so far. I just started. I was afraid I would have a Charlie horse on the bike that's how bad it was when I went. So i'm going to keep at it the next few weeks and see how it goes. the bike for the sprint is 10 miles. Right now I can barely go a half a mile. so it might not happen this summer. It's not till the end of august so I have time to build up my strength if that is what the problem is.
Another obstacle though is my issues with my weight and also I get anxious around a lot of people some times too. But if I can improve on the bike I will do it. But that is a big we will see! ;)
