Got a call from my brother just a minute ago...

Wednesday, July 31, 2013

and an "almost" apology.

He still does not want me spending money out of my account too much other than for groceries and spending money.

He also says that he may be over on saturday to pick up the mail and also maybe to help clean.

So things are somewhat smoothed over.

He says that he is hurting pain wise from his ATV accident and therefore did not talk long.

I think he realizes that he made me upset.

Also, my aunt is coming this weekend from Kentucky for a visit.

Enjoy your visit with your Aunt. Did you talk with your case worker about your brother? If you did maybe that is partially why is trying to be nice to you. Who knows.

Of course, in the case of an abuser, that is part of the abuse cycle. After it gets worse, it cycles down for a moment, and there's a honeymoon period where everything is all right. But it never lasts. It just starts all over again.

I personally feel you are better getting your own place and staying where you wish. NOW...not to cause you grief or anything....have you ever considered that perhaps this is too much for him to undertake? I mean....both you and your mother. It is a responsibility that he doesn't want to have and yet feels he has no choice....and hates the situation and is taking it out on you. YOU have to decide..and be an adult and either get your own place...or go there.
