I saw this video and had to share it with you guys.

I finally got around to making homemade hummus, I used Spark's Coach Nicole's recipe. I noticed Fresh and Easy's hummus is just as good at a reasonable price too.

I also made a great Spaghetti Squash Casserole for my vegetarian daughter, I loved it but my protein was low for the day.

Anyone have a good homemade hummus recipe for me t0 try out?

I gave Baily a bath and just as she was almost dry, Jack did pulled the old dog kicking the dirt back thing all over her.

i made hummus this weekend and didn't use a recipe... can of chickpeas, roasted garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Didn't have any tahini in the house, so added extra lemon juice. I think the roasted garlic made a huge difference.

That was quite a unique video. Startling to find myself watching a seal get born.

No hummus recipe here, not a fan but my DD sure is. Your daughter's dinner you made her sure sounds yummy...love squash.

Amazing video, poor Mom having to give birth on hard cement, that baby's head was getting quite the banging as she moved along!
Oh dogs, got to love them, bet they know when they are giving Mommy a hard time!!
I love spaghetti squash! What does your vegetarian daughter use for protein? or me, I would have added high protein beans, like Lupini or black beluga or lentils to get some protein in.
No help on hummus, don't make any.

Poor baby seal on the hard dock!

I'll post the recipe I used to use all the time. I haven't made it in a long time...I think I got tired of too much hummus too often!

HUMMUS

15 ounce can garbanzo beans
2 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon lemon juice (or lime)
1 teaspoon organic tahini roasted, no salt
salt to taste

Drain garbanzo beans, reserving liquid.

Place all ingredients in a food processor with a large ladle full of liquid from the garbanzo beans.

Process everything until smooth. If batch is still very chunky after a few seconds of processing, keep adding the liquid from the garbanzo beans until mixture is a nice smooth consistency.

    Jack was jealous!!! hehehe

i forgot about the video and watched it later. I hope the baby was ok. Weird it gave birth on concrete-all that bumping of it's head probably knocked it out.

Never had hummus before. I will have to try it one day!
