Thanks for letting me rant yesterday.

I am feeling better now.
Work was pretty boring yesterday, but I know not to complain because next week will be crazy - one of my client's cases is going to court next week, and then I have to fly to San Francisco to give a presentation at the American Bar Association annual meeting. It's going to be a rough and hectic week, that's for sure, so even though I was pretty bored yesterday, I'll take the down time. I do have a few pressing things to get to today, so that should hopefully help the time pass a bit.
Last night I changed up my spark page a bit - I just felt I needed to update the background and pictures a bit - make it more represent me at this time in my life. Also, if you are interested, I added a picture from my half marathon. I guess it's not as bad as I thought it was, really.
Yesterday I purchased 3 kindle books for about $10. One is 365 days of creative journaling prompts. I am really excited about it. I used to journal a lot, and I enjoy creative writing, but I fell out of the habit. When I was a teenager I used to write short stories all of the time, but my "friends" made fun of me and I stopped. One of my secret goals is to write a book someday. So I am looking forward to journaling again. :) I also bought a book about blogging because I want to get my public blog to a good place, and honestly the book is quite humorous. And then I bought a book about strength training for runners - it was only like $2, just to get some ideas. I am excited about my new books!
After work yesterday I went home and did Ripped in 30 - Week 1. Its a really good workout and I felt really good afterwards. And then I mowed the front lawn. Still have to get to the back lawn, because that is worse - so probably today. The grass was still wet when I mowed it, so I chose to just wait until I had dryer grass to mow. We'll see how it is this afternoon. It definitely needs to get done this week.
Today I am planning to get in a 3-4 mile run; hopefully outside depending on the weather, though it was already 70 degrees this morning when I drove to work so I fear it will be a hot one this afternoon. So we'll see.
