struggling

I'm really struggling here. I'm mostly within calorie range, and even when I'm over, I've exercised.. Every day! I must need to eat less? I'm usually around 1400-1600. I'm running, I'm doing my DVD. I don't know, not enough veggies? not enough water? I'm thinking about joining weight watchers.. but I could never justify spending the money. I'm going to try to really focus on tracking better... calories in.. calories out.. if I can get down to 1200 that will probably do it right?! Maybe I'm over indulging. I think I'm being sensible when I'm not being sensible. ?? hum. Okay well I must get back on track. I have my salad for lunch all made, and I'm going to have oatmeal with blueberries in a few. I had a hard boiled egg and coffee with 2 creams so far, but I've been up since 3:30. I just need to get positive because I'm feeling a little defeated today. )-:

    Maybe your not getting enough calories if you are working out a lot. Too little can cause weight gain. I've decided to not use the scale to measure my success right now. I am focusing on eating right, drinking water and streaking on exercise. These things make me feel good and don't wreck my mood and motivation in less than 10 seconds like the scale can.

    Another thought would be to cycle your calories. Eat high, low and in the middle. You keep your body guessing that way.

    Sounds like you are doing so many things right that perhaps you have just hit a plateou.

    I would NOT drop my calories that low - just add a small bit of cardio emphasis on SMALL!!!!

    Sounds to me like you are doing some things right, staying in calorie range, running, DVD, staying positive. Now the getting up at 3:30...

    don't feel defeated. Sometimes we all hit a plateau and it takes a little rearranging of our exercise and diet. stay positive and the weight will come off. I agree about weight watchers ,I also cannot justify the expense. Maybe you could go to a nutritionist for some advice.
