new shoes

Tuesday, July 30, 2013

I went to start the procedure of getting new shoes made. Actually I should say they are going to have to make only one shoe. I should have them in 4 - 6 weeks. I don't know how that will affect the length of time before I get my prosthetic. Hopefully not at all, but I will have to wait and see.

It would be nice if the shoes and prostheisi came about the same time.

Things are moving along, slow but sure. What do you do with all your spare time now?

I have the same questions as Ocean Mist.
But glad things are moving along.
    Waiting is difficult.

I don't understand the process.....So they make you a shoe so it matches the prosthetic shoe?? Or do they do it to make sure THE shoe is very supportive since you only have one leg?? This is all new to me (as for you too). Whatever it is, I wish you the very best! emoticon
