Day 9....and here's the slip-up

****30 DAY CHALLENGE****
1. blog progress/setbacks
2. drink water EVERY DAY not just weekdays.
3. Avoid alcohol like the plague
4. better balance on veggies over fruits
5. lean meats & protein galore.
6. ABSOLUTELY NO GLUTEN.
7. log calories
8. Run once/week
Well, Day 8 was not so hot. Ate even more of the dark chocolate acai blueberry dealies. oops. Did not drink my water (only 4 cups) and vegetables were practically non existent. Bah.
Already ate my morning snack almonds for today, which was dumb in retrospect because I have another 4 hours til lunch.
I can still turn this day into a good one though, so I'm going to try.
I took a muscle relaxer last night because my back has been troubling me, and boy, did it make me feel like a SLUG this morning in class!
I was pretty discouraged until I realized that must be it; one of the things that helps keep me away from gluten & sugar is my increased energy level, and I was frustrated this morning thinking I might as well indulge if those foods if i'm going to feel like my body weighs 10 tons and every move is an effort. By the end of class I was feeling better.
Anywho. I feel like I'm getting sloppy, but I HAVE stayed away from my iced caramel macchiato drinks at Starbucks, and haven't really gone too terribly far off track.
