don't feel like it

Lately don't feel like exercising and pretty haven't pushed it the past two weeks. I've also not watched what I've eaten. The result...5 pound gain over two weeks. Not surprised. Need to get my mojo back but not sure how. Going to start up my protein shakes twice a day again and just force myself to exercise.

    Even if I don't want to exercise, I just get started and once I start I usually keep going. Tell yourself you'll just do 10 minutes, once you get 10 minutes in, you'll probably keep going. It is just about getting started, getting off the couch and going outside for a walk/run, getting to the gym or going for a bike ride.

    I hear ya' ....some days I "don't feel like it" either. The summer's half over, routine is erratic... whatever. I haven't lost ground, but I haven't made much progress either. I talk to myself and convince myself to press on, knowing that if I don't, I'll be totally miserable with the result. On the other hand, I know that sticking with it... tracking, exercising... will put me in a better mindset to keep on going.

    Been there and am still there. I think I am getting bored as I spend the majority of my day alone. In fact if it were not for Spark People I would be getting my health back all alone. Do not give up, keep tracking and reading the articles. Reading the blogs always gives me some much needed motivation. Sometimes it helps to go back and think about why you started your journey. You can do this.

    Have you tried a different kind of exercise? I get easily bored , and I mean easily! My main form of exercising is with DVDs or Wii, so I have a HUGE collection of different ones, so I look forward to choosing which one to exercise with. emoticon
