BFFM Halfway Point!

Today is the start of the second half of the BFFM Challenge. Seven weeks down, seven more to go. I have slipped a bit more this week and need to get back on track. Overall, though great stats. Just wish I could see the changes visually. I took pics today to compare to starting pics and to me they look practically the same. However, looking at my measurements, my body is changing. Hopefully by the end of the challenge I will actually be able to see those changes.

Starting Stats:
Weight: 198
Waist: 40 in
Hips: 47 in
Neck: 14.25 in

Body Fat %: 49
Fat Weight: 97 lbs
Lean Body Mass: 101 lbs

Halfway-after 7 weeks:
Weight: 185 (-13 lbs)
Waist: 34.5in (-5.5 in)
Hips: 44.5 in (-2.5 in)
Neck: 14.0 in (-0.25 in)

Body Fat %: 41 ( -8%)
Fat Weight: 76 lbs! (-21 lbs)
LBM: 109 lbs (+8 lbs)

Time to get back on track and kick it into high gear for the second half of the challenge.

    Thanks so much Janelle. It is definitely for life now. There is no going back to where I was. I am done being overweight, fatigued, unhealthy, and unhappy with myself. I want my son to have a happy and healthy life, and I know I need to be that role model in his life. Glad to hear you are doing jump roping too. I love it. I have also started adding in some pushups and I also got a spin bike off of Craigslist for at home. So no excuses now why I can't get in my exercise! It may be storming outside, but I won't let that stop me! :)

    Yay! Great job! Very brave to post all your stuff out in the open for everyone to read. Know that such transparency is rare and very sacred, actually. I felt so awed by your sharing that I did not really look at any of the numeric info, just your note. You said that you had slid a bit, and I want to encourage you, as I face this daily. It is for life, not for a week, or for a month, not for a particular challenge...though we can and do use those things as tools.
    Your life and your ability to enjoy your life completely with your family and those that love you is what the whole-Spark-deal is about.

    The numbers are important, but your heart and your spirit are more valuable than anything. you will get to the goal. And so will I, right there with you. Plus, I'm jumping rope at work now, too. emoticon
