Weekend Recap

Monday, July 29, 2013

Weekend was so so..had a good time at Zumba on Saturday, then ran errands with my friend. Didn't feel too good in the afternoon so I napped and then went for a short walk at the local park.

Sunday we went to the movies and then a bbq..both were fun, In the afternoon I picked up my two friends to go to the Zumba in the Club event where I was supposed to be on stage for a song with my instructor friend. We got caught in a massive traffic jam, due to over 7 inches of rain falling between 4 and 7 pm. This in addition to the people returning from the shore led to a crappy drive. We got stuck, then managed to find another way to the venue. WE were over an hour late but we could not find the place!! What an awful time...we got there at 8:30 in time to see everyone leaving.. emoticon

We did get together with our friends for a snack. We had four friends that came 20 minutes later, they too had got caught in the jam.

Overall, not the worse thing in the world but over 20 of us didn't make it to the event.

Most of my sadness comes from not knowing if I will be able to dance well enough to dance on stage after this surgery. Not the worse thing in the world, but for me, it certainly seems so.

So for anyone who thinks I am always happy, this blog is proof that I am not.

Good night....

and the ever popular, "Dance like no one is watching!"
Glad, despite the quick downpour, you did make it to visit with your friends if not dance.
