Monday is in the books!

On-call issues at work were manageable. DONE!

Got paged just before I got home, handled it. DONE!

Went for a four mile run instead of using the excuse I might get paged again. DONE!

Inhaled a few gnats as I ran. (Bluck) DONE!

Took the dog for her one-mile walk. DONE!

Stretched, showered and washed dishes. DONE, DONE and DONE!

Thanks to JMCONNELL74 for keeping me accountable. Where would I be without my spark friends?!

Monday is DONE! Onward to Tuesday.

For your listening pleasure, check out the Band Perry singing Done! My running playlist today ended with this song.

I remember when I worked. I did two jobs actually. I cut my hours of work back to Critical Care nursing a couple days a week and then I added an I.S. position the other two days that I worked. I found that the less I worked in Critical Care the harder it got. Every day seemed like I Monday which is the worst day of the week for a nurse!

emoticon You did a great job of putting Monday in it's place!

emoticon You might need to wear your motorcycle helmet with the face guard down to avoid the gnats! LOL Just joking! Can you imagine running with a helmet on?? OMG! Crazy!

Awesome! I can relate to the gnats--in my area it's deer flies. I had a deer fly patch on my running cap last night, but instead of staying on my hat, it became entagled and wrapped in my ponytail. Ouch!

Let's do it all over again today!!! emoticon

Way to go - you rocked Monday!

Love the way dog owners have to do the whole "did proper training, then came home and went back out WITH the dog out for 30+ mins, then got a chance to have a shower..." I know it so well. Sometimes I'm jealous of the folk with athletic dogs that get to combine the two. My dog is a sprinter (occasional power bursts) not a runner - on a good day a walk with him is sort of interval training ;-)
