Iíve Been a Bad, Bad Girl

Iím still struggling with inconsistency with my workouts. Iím proud of myself that my eating habits havenít gone bad. As I mentioned in my last blog, having healthy foods in my home has really saved me! I resist bringing home junk food so that I do not have to fight with myself about eating bad stuff. When I want ice cream, I grab a fruit popsicle out of the freezer. After eating one, Iím completely satisfied. Yesterday I filled a bowl with sweet cherries and snacked on them while watching a movie. On Saturday I filled a bowl with baby carrots to mindlessly snack on while watching TV. When I want to go really wild, Iíve got my Padrinos No Salt Tortilla Chips which I put into a bowl and crunch on with some tasty salsa.

Of course I do allow myself to indulge in the not-so-healthy-for-me foods occasionally and in proper portions so I can have a little fun and also try to prevent myself from getting in those rebellious moods that end up ruining my good progress.

So, I guess I havenít been a really bad girl afterall. However, I do really need to get back to working out. Not moving my body is also bad for my health so I need to get on it!

    Sounds like we are in the same boat. While i have been eating ok, I have not been working out. I just can't seem to get back to it. emoticon

    Bad girls need a span...., nooooooo, I didn't say that. You sound like you are doing much better tasn me. Keep those healthy foods going!!!!

    Good job with your portioning snacks!
Cherries sound great too!
Try doing a short 10 min video tomorrow, I love them and I usually do more than one after the first!
Put your workout clothes on when you get up, you'll feel kinda silly sitting around in them!
