I let it win.
I have decided to nix Ultimate Ba(w)l from my S90D rotation. Yes, completely not doing it.
Not merely because I dislike it, either.
I realized that I don't have the space to really do it. Last time I did S90D, I didn't have the foam padding on my floor (those snap together floor tiles). The small area that's padded isn't big enough to allow for all the rolling in and out that The Ball requires. Before, I was going diagonally but now that means rolling down off the padding and then back up onto it. Yeah, I can barely roll on an even surface so off roading like that just ain't happening.
But more importantly, The Ball hurts my psoriasis. I have a psoriasis outbreak on my right shin area and it does NOT like being rolled on The Ball. Yes, I could wrap my leg (or sweat to death wearing long pants) but that's only going to make it worse. Rubbing the psoriasis is bad news. It only makes it worse.
SO, The Ball has won. At least as far as that one dvd goes. I still use it where required (within my limitations) on the other dvds. Eventually that will include doing incline push ups with my feet on The Ball. Right now I'm not strong enough to do that (so I use my step).
I don't regret this decision in the least.
