Today we went to a Bulleye Pistol Match. Jim shot it, I was there for moral support. I really should have brought my .22 pistol and at least shot the .22 pistol match. Hindsight is wonderful.
Anyway it was CHILLY! This is July in MN- normally 80's and humid. Today was in the mid 50's and breezy and overcast. The sun did come out and it got warmer, but I was very glad I had on a T shirt, Sweatshirt AND a fleece jacket. In between the matches and scoring i hunted for brass in the grass. Rounded up 4 pounds of brass to recycle. Doesn't seem like much, but it adds up over time. We will bring it the recycle place this week. I think I have 25 lbs or so of brass shells, so that is about $30 or more. Depends on the price for the day. Nice way to pay my dues for the gun club, already have $100 in my stash for that from brass.
We heard on the radio today that places in Northern MN had temps of 30 degrees and windchills were being announced. That is a first that I can recall in MN.
Home and relaxing now. Second day of vacation successful and fun.
