First Grocery Trip

I went on my first "on track" grocery run on Friday. emoticon


We picked up lots of fresh produce:
- lettuce
- green beans
- spinach
- cantaloupe
- grapes
- blueberries
- raspberries


Instead of just grabbing the cheapest bread on the shelf, I tried the enriched light white bread. I know "light" is only a small step, with it still being a white bread and containing no whole grains. But it is half the calories and carbs as a normal loaf, so it's a starting point.

To add protein to my breakfasts and snacks I picked up some lactose free cottage cheese and light Babybel cheese wheels.


A fresh start and a fresh fridge!

    Yummy yummy! If only my fridge was as fresh as my produce. Note to self clean fridge tomorrow. I got some fresh peas in the pod, strawberries and peaches lovely. I also like watercress and beet root. Keep up the good work. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
