My monthly goal started out to be lose 5lbs a month. I lost 7 lbs. in 28 days.
And a goal to Read The Fast Metabolism Diet book ď by Haylie Pomroy. I read it!

July 1st I started on my 1st 28 day Fast Metabolism Diet, (I think of it as My Fast Metabolism Life Style now).

The first thing I did was give up my 2 cups of coffee in the morning. It was not as hard as I thought it would be and now I donít even miss it.

I donít think I have ever eaten so much food in a day in my life and I did not think I could do that. But, I ate 3 meals, 2 snacks and drank 80 to 90 ounces of water every day for 28 days. I was Never Hungry.

The reason I went on the Fast Metabolism Diet was to repair my metabolism. Last year I started doing a lot of research on why it is so hard for women over fifty to lose weight and our metabolism and hormones is the answer I kelp finding.

After years of yo-yo dieting, having a hysterectomy when I was 28 (no ovaries so no estrogen) and going through chemo treatment at age 42, I thought it made a lot of sense after reading the book for me to try it. I think it is the best decision I have ever made when it comes to dieting.

In these 28 days a lot has changed with my body. My skin looks smoother and tighter, hair is thicker, nails are stronger, I sleep much better, I have a lot more energy and I have lost more weight and inches in the last 28 days than I have any month in the last 5 or more years and I have documented my weight and inches (losses and gains) almost every month of 2012 & 2013 and the 1st of every year since 2007 on my SP page so I could learn from my diets.

Haylie Pomroy has helped thousands of people to lose up to twenty pounds in 28 days with her fat-burning power of food, 3 phase plan. But, my metabolism was so screwed up that I was very happy to lose what I have this first time through. I have gained so much more than just losing weight, Iím gaining my health. I no longer have to take blood pressure medicine.

I plan on doing another 28 days and another until I reach my goal weight (GW 125 lbs). Then, I will make this way of life My Life Style for the rest of my days on this earth.

I am starting my second 28 day cycle on July 29, 2013.
