Mr. Creep???!!!

Sunday, July 28, 2013

Tortise110 wrote a blog entry about being cognisant about keeping Mr. Creep at bay! Me and DH talk about him all the time, but he is still here in our home!!! Gosh, it doesn't take much to be up a couple of pounds, does it? Now, a couple of pounds is not worrisome, so long as they disappear before a couple more arrive.

Relentless determination (formerly known as maintenance) is A LOT of constant work. I think it's because some things have changed in my head, but some haven't as yet. Well, onward I go....onward I go...if it is to be, it is up to me.

Yes, I too worry about that Mr. Creep when he tries to influence me. Constant vigilance aids me in my fight with him. I check my weight often to know where I stand with that guy. So far I have been keeping that monstrosity away, but I know he likes to hang around waiting to pounce when my choices are not as healthy as they should be.

Good luck during your relentless determination (I really like that instead of plain old maintenance)!

s on you and your DD looking so great for her day!

Sandi, Thanks for the "citation!" It's so true that maintenance is "relentless determination!" Now I really know how to talk about it. Great blog!!

Yes..that Mr. Creep can happen all of the time..I can gain 3 pounds in one day. That is why I like the term relentless determination. Each day is a choice and we cannot give up!

We are getting there! All the same tools we used to get to this point also serve us as we maintain our achieved goal. It's up to us to carry them out faithfully every day.

It is definitely a lifestyle! You're doing great about giving him the boot every time he sneaks in! emoticon

Mr. Creep is here too, three pounds up today but I know it's from the last two nights of Mexican dinner with friends. I was smart Friday night but not so much last night.

My head is screwed on straight this time, I will not tell myself, "great, three pounds, well, no point in trying to get rid of it, it's a lost cause." I WILL tackle these three pounds!

Excellent blog!
