July whizzed by for me. I got a little bummed yesterday, driving home from work in the sunshine. Why? I guess I started to mourn the passing of summer already.
I spent the evening planning workouts for August. The plan starts tomorrow. I've never been a beginning of the calendar kind of girl. Why would I wait?!
My plan is simple: Zumba twice a week and Live Fit strength program four times a week, with lots of walks peppered in between to achieve 10k steps a day.
My step challenge at work is probably coming to a close. I don't log in because my Fitbit updates the site automatically. But I know my steps are way down. I should really try to do some marathon walking to correct my daily average.
Anyway, that's the down and dirty, quick and easy plan. I've started the strength program a few times, so I'm a pro at the first fiew weeks of workouts. Instead of mourning the passing of summer, I intend to send it out in style!
Tomorrow, I forage for produce at the grocery store! My fridge and pantry are in sore need of a restock, since we skipped shopping last week. It was interesting to know we could go an extra week without it, but I was missing my Greek yogurt and some fresh stuff.
Tomorrow's a new day. No more slothing around for me! Time to move!
