What An Awesome week!

I had such a great week. Granted, I was pretty stressed out with work, too many activities and not enough sleep. I didn't meet all of my exercise goals this week either. I missed my monthly Stampin' Up Club and my house is a disaster! But still, I thought it was such a nice week.
At work we had our annual employee meeting and people were here from all over the world. On Monday we had an all day meeting from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and that included lunch time. That meant no workout during lunch and just sitting for nine long hours...add my long commute to either side of that and we are talking one very sedentary day (I have a sedentary job anyway but this was such that I couldn't even get up for a few minutes to chat with a co-worker)! I did manage to get a walk in that evening so not all was lost. I was up late, but what is new?
Tuesday I can't even remember, but Wednesday, again, no lunch time workout. That evening after dinner my husband decided he needed to run to Bass Pro to pick up some things. I did manage to go for a walk that evening, and I should have stayed home to exercise more, but I decided to go with him because I hardly ever get to go anywhere these days and it was nice to spend a bit of time with him. We got home way past my bedtime and I still had a lot to do so I didn't get enough sleep.
Thursday....CRAZY DAY! Work of course, and we had a team luncheon so no workout AGAIN! Add to that, for the global employee meeting, we had a team building activity that night...we went to a minor league baseball game. I managed to hit the fitness center for about 45 minutes between work and the game. I was sort of loathe to go to it but we ended up having so much fun! There were about 80 of us there. They served us dinner before hand and since I knew that the menu was baseball stadium food (pork, hotdogs and burgers; coleslaw, baked beans and chips), I took my own food. Then we watched the game. The weather was so awesome and so was the company - had a blast! But got home late so was just exhausted on Friday for work.
Friday, I went for a long walk at lunch time! It was gorgeous outside. At work this week I have gotten so much done (despite the meetings and such) and feel very good about things. I was able to do the 30 Day Shred video twice this week, as per my goal, and I also did the weight machines at the fitness center twice. I also set a goal to do my exercise bike four times a week...unfortunately I only did that two times but I did get 30 minutes of exercise in five days, so I am not stressing over this by any means! Last night after dinner we went for an evening swim and just relaxed and rested. This morning I slept in VERY late - I normally don't sleep in too much on the weekends but I really did today! I must have been very tired! I took an early morning walk and then headed to the pool for a few hours. This evening I am picking up around here and doing laundry. I am still pretty behind on my chores and stuff but it just seems like given the situation, I got a lot done...I ate healthy, I exercised and I enjoyed it!
