It was a really nice day today. I got a screen door sold, then took Cassie to a benefit flea market that my friend had a booth at. It was a benefit for The Passion Play of Denver that is put on every year between Palm Sunday and Easter. Most booths had used things. At one booth I found a book of Helen Steiner Rice things for children (at least I think it is a children's book) and an old fashioned piggy bank -- the kind that fits together in the middle and you have to unscrew it to get it open. I can remember having one of those years ago. I don't know what happened to it. I got it for a new little one at church (or maybe her and her sister). The book is for my friend's granddaughter. I also got some small Tupperware containers to keep my LITTLE meals in when I go somewhere. I'm not sure they even hold 1/3 cup, though they might.

I am still trying to get used to the small meals every couple of hours. I must say, it does help keep my gut from hurting. I ate very little tonight, though, and still must have eaten too much because now I hurt. Yesterday I missed for about 5 hours between and was afraid to try the celery with some "light" vegetable dip I had, so had some crackers with the dip instead. I didn't realize the dip had veggies in it and got too much which upset my stomach. I would have done just as well (better nutritionally) with the celery. I will eat it when I am staying home for a while so it doesn't cause problems. Meanwhile I have spent almost all my month's allowance trying to get what would be nutritionally good and easy to do the little snack size meals. Now I will have to cut things up to make the very small meals.

    At least you've got the right equipment for it. It's hard to make a new healthy habit, but once you get going it will become second nature. You can do it!

    I wish I could be that disciplined, too, but I just can't keep it going.
