How Hot?

Saturday, July 27, 2013

This is the time of year when most Texans either leave the state (Colorado, here we come!) looking for cooler temps, or they WISH that they could leave the state looking for cooler temps....

I keep telling myself that July and August are the price we pay for 80 degree January and February...

How hot is it around here?

Remember, Cool is a state of mind, too!

Love this! Especially the ceiling fans.

P.S. Thanks for commenting on my blog. I'm in Texas, too. De-stressing and keeping cool with iced tea. Cheers!

For 12 years we lived in a travel trailer, and moved north in the summer and south in the winter. Then we settled down in Florida, which is OK for about six months of the year. It's hot and humid here - which is fine if you're wearing shorts, standing in the shade and holding a cold drink. It's not so good if you're roofing, or doing any other work outside in the sun.

    Funny!
This is why when the stylist asked what I wanted, I said ANYTHING that'll hold.
    Good old Galveston weather!

LOVE the pictures!! Yep, we headed back to MN. and had the same temps as the TX. winter and today that has changed!! We broke the low record for a cold high! it was 64 for a high today and tonight a possible record of 49. Those fans might just shape up and the fudgecicle be too hard to eat!! (lol)
