5% Challenge, First Day

My Fitbit One is not connecting (Windows problem, not Fitbit problem), so here are my readouts for the day:

11:20 pm:

18,995 steps
6 flights of stairs (I usually get more, but today was an in the house day except when I walked or cut grass)
8.27 miles walked
2,197 calories burned

What did I do today to get that many steps? I took a walk this morning before breakfast.

I cut the grass, which also includes moving yard toys and today, Jeep parts up to the porch.

In the early evening, about 7:00, I took another walk. The zoo and park are across the street. I walked the long way around the park, down LaVallette Avenue to the green houses, back past the park to walk around the lot of the Tanner's Creek Nursery (where I buy my gardening supplies), then home.

And I just finished one mile on the 5 Mile Walk dvd.

Will I be able to keep this pace up? Nope, not every day. But my intention is to make the most of this challenge, for ME.
