Lost In Oklahoma

Saturday, July 27, 2013

drove 5 hours away last night to visit my dads gf for an hour...then we left at 5pm.....
the gps messed up and somehow we end up in Oklahoma....3 hours outta the way...
and of course i get blamed for it...whatever...

so 8 hour drive home....5 hour drive there... we didn't get home until almost 4am.

im tired . irritated.... and feeling like slapping someone in the face right now. more sleep will help i hope :(

In other news my brother got married Friday.(yesterday)
they did small at a little chapel with just him and her bc my brother is not a showy person and didn't want a big fuss.
I hate it that i didn't get to be there but i guess its ok because i give him the ring he married her with so i guess in a sense i was there. it still hurts i didn't get to be there...

I hadn't seen you around lately and was wondering what was going on. I am really sorry about the whole thing and glad his wedding worked out. He knows you love him and I hope you come back and let's know how you are doing.

My GPS did that Oklahoma as well of all things! Craziness...
I'm sorry you were not at your brothers wedding. Are they going to do a reception or anything for the family?

I eloped. No one was there but the pastor, my hubby, and me. Church secretaries signed as witnesses, but they weren't in there at all. Just needed the signatures to be legal. Its been 25 years, and my m.i.l. still gripes about it.

Our GPS tends to mess up also. We ignore it and then she gets it right.

I'm a believer in things happening for a reason. Anyway better luck next time.
It is hurtful when not invited to a family event. Have a good week

Sorry! It is SO HARD to be in two important places at the same time!! I never rely on GPS, although I do have it. I am really, really old school. Plan both ways via real, paper, maps, and then confirm construction paths online before I take off for long trips.

So sorry you were terribly far out of your way. That can make for a difficult day~
