Cell Phone Challenges

Saturday, July 27, 2013

I've been having challenges with my cell phone for 8 months. The company 'replaced' it with a 'refurbished' one. It took 3 days for them to get it to me. If anything, the replacement phone is worse than the original! Yesterday, they 'guarenteed' me a phone that would work would be shipped overnight and I would receive it today. However, they did not let the delivery service know it was to be a Saturday delivery! When I tracked it, it's not set to delivery until 3 PM on Monday! I have had 6 calls in the past 2 days to the cell phone co. besides having to call the delivery co.
All I want is a working phone - is that too much to ask?

Oh yikes!! Computers and cell phones, great when they work, but when they don't it's truly a pain. Hope you get one that works really soon!! Have a great Sunday.

Yet another reason I have never had, nor do not now, have a cell phone. You need one, I do not.
DD has a $20 tracphone, costs $100/year to buy a card to load and she gets about a bazillion minutes. She has never had one minutes problem.. Had it for about ten years.

    Good luck Patricia.

Of course not. I'd put the name here, and let the company know you have just told Spark People membership of your dealings with them. You still won't get it until Monday at 3:00 p.m., but perhaps they will make sure the new refurbished phone actually works before they send it.

Try Consumer Cellular. They are great people.
