on thursday night, i had a gallstone attack. within two hours, i was okay. that makes it a couple now. this one was the longest and it actually hurt. so, on friday morning, i phoned to make an appointment with my own doctor at the earliest date available. on tuesday afternoon, i will go to see my doctor and tell him what has been happening. my room mate has kindly offered to take me there and back. she will back me up on what i have been going through. i am so glad that she was home when it happened to me. when i am in school, i stay with her. otherwise, i am with my daughter. she is doing well and wants mommy to get better. she knows that something isn't right with mommy's body. she senses when i am not myself. even my birds seem to know when i am not well. she is really enjoying playing soccer and being part of the library reading club this summer. i have been eating simple and small meals, in an effort to feel better and to help lower my high cholesterol. i did get to see the wolverine movie yesterday and it was amazing! i highly recommend it! so far today, i am okay physically. my family and my room mate are on standby if i have that happen again with my gallstones. they will make sure i get help when i need it. it is looking like my gallbladder will have to come out. i will let you know what the doctor says on tuesday. keep me in your thoughts and prayers. i know i will get through this. have a wonderful day, everyone!

Hope you feel better soon! Gallbladder can be controlled by diet. Try the Brat diet for a but after an attack. I had mine out... But had many attacks.

Good luck, hope all goes well. I haven't had a gallbladder for many years. Don't even miss it. It was a quick out patient procedure and a few days resting up after. Hope yours goes a well if you need it removed.

I had gall stone attack so bad they wanted to remove my gall bladder. While in hospital my moms friend a homeopath brought me a punnet of radishes blended into some apple juice....the gall stones MELTED clean away. My sonar on the Monday morning showed NOTHING. So dont let your dr take out your very much needed gall bladder till you've tried this. It works, I assure you. I now eat radishes regularly in my salads and once every 3 or so months I make the blend juice thing and drink it down.

I had the same problem in 2007 and needed surgery but nowadays the surgery is very simple. I had 4 small incisions and went home the next day. I wish you the best. I just wanted to tell you because if you need surgery, doctors have ways of making it very nice for you. God bless you and take care.

Good luck at your appointment. I learned that if addressed early enough the surgery can be far less complicated that in the past. Keep her reading!

My sister in law just had her gallbladder out and is doing great. Says she feels better than she has in a long time. I send you prayers and hope all goes well when the time comes to have it out.

My husband messed around with it for four years. Annoying that I didn't know it most of the time! Then one night had an attack that landed him in the emergency room. Ended up having it taken out. Somgladmyou are not waiting! emoticon
