Food Tracker for Success:)

Saturday, July 27, 2013

It has been 7 days now & my weight has been bouncing between 228 &229 lbs. emoticonAfter reflecting on the situation I've come to the conclusion it's not what I'm eating but the amount I'm eating that is causing me a problem. I'm going to kick this problem in the butt before it gets out of control. Yesterday I decided to start using the food tracker again. Even though I have been watching what I eat the amount I eat is another story. Sometimes we think we are not eating much till we start tracking, measuring, & weighing everything that goes into our mouth. The results can be shocking! emoticon I always had success with loosing weight when I was using the food tracker. I decided to start using it again even though it can be time consuming. More like a pain but using it does show results! emoticon emoticonMy weigh-in with BLC is Wednesday so we will see if I can get that scale down a pound by then!

Are you still tracking!? I find once you get all your favorites in there, it gets easier. I wish you great success! emoticon emoticon

I agree with you about the importance of tracking. I find that knowing I am tracking heightens my awareness of every morsel I put in my mouth and every morsel I think about putting in my mouth. It all counts, and it all adds up.

Good luck with your weigh-in!

I agree with you so much!! I tracked what I ate today and I'm over my daily limit! But I know that by tracking I'm being honest with myself. That is a key also!! Good job!!

I always use the food tracker, you just need to make a habit. I think it is a good way to keep things in check and keep the scale moving in the right direction!

Large quantities of food, even "healthy" ones, can be a killer. If you measure and track your food the results will be amazing.

I should talk; I am not very good in this department myself.

You are so right about the food tracker. It's just too easy to eat more than you think you did without it. Motto: WEIGH MEASURE AND TRACK,

Weighing and measuring your food can be a pain, but it is absolutely essential for making sure you are staying within your nutrition goals. I can't lose weight without it and exercising. I think once you start doing that again, you'll be very pleased with the results. emoticon

The food tracker is my life saver! I also keep a hand-written food journal every day, so I can record every calorie I consume. Otherwise... I tend to cheat.
