We got to the hotel tonight and the only restaurant that was around was the Chinese buffet next door. So we went. My oldest almost had a meltdown thinking about it, but she did well. She ate smart and kept herself in check emotionally, too.
I did well. I ate seafood with a little chicken. Lots of veggies and fruit. I did have some dishes with a little cheese, but tried some new foods as well. I had octopus, mussels and calamari. I liked it all.
I stayed away from anything breaded, fried or with a lot of sauces. I did treat myself to a scoop of ice cream, one mini cream puff and a small brownie. I drank water and then walked back to the hotel.
I'm ok with my eating today and since I changed my settings, it says that I under ate by a minimum of 393 calories. Since it's hard to log a buffet I'm ok with it.
Once we got back to the hotel I went to the pool where I did water exercises and tread water for 20 minutes. I had already walked this morning for 40 minutes or so.
Overall, it was a good day. Tomorrow we go to my Aunt's 80th birthday party, so it may be a little more difficult to eat "healthy." I'll do my best, though.
