from New Hazelton to Victoria we have seen many stories told through wood carvings of the coastal Indians. Their work is exquisite and an artform of its own
we spent time in the BC provincial museum- it has wonderful 'living land/ living sea diaramas of the history of BC and of the First Nation Peoples of the coast.
we took the water taxi back from fisherman's wharf and enjoyed some of the Street Performers Festival before heading back to our motel for swim and supper. Pedometer says we walked 4.5 miles today- it usually shortchanges me. Tomorrow is another ferry ride
