Buddy and I walked for about 75 min. this am... so muggy and sticky, I started using my extra water and pouring it over my head and down my back, with how hot and sweaty I was, it worked great.... new tip for exercising in the heat...
We went shopping and had a very successful day. My MIL has been looking for a new jacket and I found her one today at a consignment shop. Today all pink tickets were half price, and my MIL's jacket was 1/2 price and another top she bought too. I found a beautiful white blouse but it wasn't 1/2, and I kept looking and a I found an awesome white eyelet longer top that can be worn as a jacket right now, and if I get some more weight off and these boobs get smaller, I might even be able to button it. I also got a nice swingy skirt, that was purple/white/black.... very pretty....It's mid calf length and I used to have one the same style in a peach color, so I know how comfy it is... (Like I need any more clothes- terrible thing to have all my clothes fitting me these days...lmao) Not too many times as I've fought this weight battle, that I didn't have about 3 or 4 sizes in my closet... such a nice feeling...@e bought weights today, a 5 lb, and a 10 lb. kettle weight. I will have to check out SP or Utube to see what to do with them.
Today, we got home it was almost 6:30 and that's usually when I have a problem, but tonite, I made grilled ham and cheese sandwich and the last of that curry... Good meal, really cleaned up my fridge. But broccoli, cauliflower and celery were on sale so my fridge will be full again as soon as I get it all put away. It is so nice to be able to buy low salt/fat/cal ham... This one has only 40 cal in 3 slices....even the sodium was under 300!!! Pretty amazing.....I think I will be making my veggie bags again, it is so easy to fall off the veggies, and I have been noticing it a bit of late.
I went out and acted like Edward Scissorhands tonite and trimmed down our front hedge which I had noticed in driving by was closing in over the walkway, and the letter carrier was going to be getting brushed by bushes especially if it was wet out. Then I crocheted some more on a baby blanket I am making, just a big granny square, for my niece's dd's 14 y.o. friend who is due in Aug....
Well, in the heat, I have been drinking lots and lots of liquids, got back into the Crystal Lite's.... hadn't been using my stash of them in a long time, but I keep water in the car, and in this heat, it gets hot. So, I brought a pkg. with me and added it to the hot water, and had a mandarin tea!!
Breakfast - fibre one, milk, cherries
Lunch - overnite oatmeal, blueberries, raspberries
Snack - BK ice cream cone
Supper - leftover curry, grilled ham and cheese, cherries
Must go post my food and see what I have left to try to get in as many of my nutrients as possible.
