TGIF At Last!!

Boy...for some reason this week has seemed like a LONG one. I know I skipped blogging yesterday, but I'm back at it today! I was way busy at work yesterday.

And with some good news!! My cell phone is FIXED! And I am the one that fixed it! emoticon
We had a Benefits Fair here and one of the booths was Sprint. So I talked to this nice lady there. she looked at my phone and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. So she gave me her card and said to call here today to get my MSL number (it acts as a password). This number allows someone to make changes to the phone software itself. Or to reprovision the the phone. So I called her this morning, got my phones MSL and then found the code I needed to get into the hidden menu. Turns out I didn't need the MSL (although it's good to have it handy). I just used the dial pad and inputted the correct numbers and there was the menu I needed. I hit Reset, my phone rebooted and everything works again emoticon ! Now when the new phone (that our friend at Sprint had ordered for me) gets here, we'll send it back. By the time it does get here (5-7 days), I'll know if my fix is going to stick. Then in Feb of 2014...we are getting NEW phones. I think we're going with the Galaxy 4S. Those phones will even sync with our FitBits! emoticon I am one happy cell phone camper right now! Of course all the text messages and voice mails for the week it wasn't working have been rolling in since then. emoticon Oh well..small price to pay I guess.

Something is up with my heel of my left foot. It was hurting a lot yesterday emoticon . So much I was limping. It started yesterday morning. I decide to do some "laps" around the second floor at work (my work floor), to get some steps in. I've been doing that each morning. Twice around is like 1000 or so steps. But after about 5 laps, I was limping a lot and my heel hurt. So I was debating with myself if I should even do my treadmill workout at lunch and decide to try it and see how I did. I went slow (treadmill was set @ 3 MPH) and increased the incline (to 4). I was still limping a bit but it didn't hurt too bad. emoticon When I got home I looked at it, it looks like a callus is forming. It still is tender today so I did the same workout at lunch. At least I won't feel guilty about have to miss it. And I always feel guilty about missing a workout during the week! emoticon

I had to pick hubby up ate the car repair place, his car is getting new brakes. Then he bought me dinner at Aloha Kitchen (local Hawaiian place) I had the Teri Combo plate. One boneless Teri thigh, some Teri beef, and one thin boneless Teri pork chop. I ordered a side salad instead of the mac salad and didn't eat the rice. So not too bad. I even had a mug cake with frosting when we got home. I do have to stop with the frosting though! Still I was within my calorie range for the day. emoticon

I'm thinking of maybe starting a book blog. Just to give my take/reviews/recommendations on the books I read on my Kindle. So you think that would be a good idea? I already have a blog for my Digital Scarp kits, the ones I make and anyone can download for free. ( insert Shameless plug here! emoticon )

Dinner tonight is a bug question mark. For some reason I'm craving meat...a big chuck of nice juicy steak or something. I'll see what I can dig up at home.

So that'll be it for me today. Have a great weekend! Two funnies today to make up for yesterday's missing one.

    OMG! Loved that second cartoon! LOLOLOL! As to your foot, could be the starting of a bone spur. Rub ice on it for 10-15 minutes twice a day and find a huge book (thick) to stand on (or a stair, if you have one in your house). Stand with the front of your feet on the book or stair and your heels hanging off. Raise yourself up on your toes, then let your heels fall a little below the book. Do ten of them or so. If it's a bone spur, the ice will decrease the inflammation and the exercise will stretch the muscle/tendon that goes over the spur. Been there, had to do that. Hugs, Calen~
