I would not eat half the foods or meals I do if they did not have something like a a splash of fresh lemon juice, fresh herbs, perhaps my favorite cilantro infused Olive Oil OR my Cholula Hot Sauce to add a little flavor boost.

Eating a potato without anything... to me... is like eating cereal without milk. And I hate eating dry cereal. Some people can do it.. not this chica.

While I don't drown my cereal in milk.. its a must to have. 3/4 cup cereal is the proper serving, and I use just a half of cup of Almond Unsweetened Vanilla Milk.

Feeling like you HAVE to chow down on a dry flavorless meal is the worst feeling. I should know.. I've tried it many times when trying to lose weight in the past, and have failed.. many times.



Adding some Cholula hot sauce for instance, on grilled chicken, eggs or pasta. WOW.. my tastebuds are doing the happy dance.

So I say... go out there and see what you can bring to the table that compliments your meals without hurting your goals. :)

    I couldn't agree more and I also tried years ago the very bland eating and failed. Now I used many herbs and spices whenever I cook, a little olive oil, various condiments. Eating healthy is not boring at all when you add the right ingredients.
