So over the last little while I have been thinking about my fitness goals and how I am going about achieving them. I have been thinking a lot about the difference between being healthy and pursing goals that are purely based on looks. When I have tried to eat in the 1200-1400 calories range, I have a tough time sticking to my diet and having a I feel tired in my workouts. I have decided that I am going to make my 3 month goals 6 month goals because I want to be able to take my time and create habits that will help me live a longer and healthy life. I don't really have an exact fitness plan I am following, I am only planning to eat 1600 calories per day. No other caloric requirements. I am a fan of the whole keep it simple idea now because honestly I am he kind of person who gets really out of wack about that stuff.
My heart rate monitor has been on the outs over the last year. I have had a hard time getting my old one to work and made the choice to buy a new one because I find that it helps me to workout harder. In stores in Canada, I found the same pink one for $126.00 (plus 15% tax) and found it on Amazon for $66.00. I wore it today and it is the exact same one I previously owned and I am happy to have it again:)
